Medical Care for the Armed Forces

The Defence Committee set up this online forum to listen to the views of people with first-hand experience of Armed Forces health care. These posts, along with the written and oral evidence gathered during the inquiry, informed the Committee's recommendations to the Government.

The Defence Committee's recommendations were published in a Medical Care for the Armed Forces report on 18 February 2008. The Government's response to the Medical Care for the Armed Forces report was published 9 May 2008.
